Key Challenges
CNE Adoption & Near-Perfect Compliance Need
To be successful, the new platform had to be seamlessly adopted by CNEs. The challenge was to design a tool so intuitive and effective that it would overcome the high failure rates of typical EHR and clinical system rollouts, ensuring near-perfect CNE compliance.
Cost & Timeline Restrictions
The client's initial estimates of over $1M in cost and a 9-12 month development cycle were significant barriers, delaying their ability to effectively support patients and CNEs. It was imperative we provided an innovative solution that increased operational efficiency and supported patient outcomes without the delay.
Complex Integration Requirements
The project required a broad set of interconnected applications, including distinct portals for patients and nurses, integration with third-party data aggregators, and the development of specialized clinical content. This demanded a sophisticated, custom, and cohesive solution.
Our Approach
By utilizing our experience in the field, we were able to deploy a fully custom patient engagement program centered around our patient engagement platform, UltraTouch Engage. This entailed:
- Deployment of the core UltraTouch Engage application, which includes robust, pre-built modules for patient and clinician interaction that can be rapidly customized.
- The launch of two key applications within the platform: a patient-facing portal to deliver clinical content and a CNE portal designed to streamline clinical workflows and ensure compliance.
- Back-end integration with the client's data aggregator, enabling a synchronized flow of information from two different specialty pharmacies.
- Development of engaging clinical content to ensure that CNE-patient interactions were not only efficient but also clinically impactful and improved the patient experience.
