Stephen Musial is an accomplished professional with more than 35 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Mr. Musial started his career as a sales representative and has held various positions of increasing responsibility, including Hospital Representative, District and Hospital Sales Manager, where he managed a sales teams covering fourteen states in the Rocky Mountain Region based in Denver, Colorado.
Over the past 23 years Mr. Musial has worked as an Account Executive and National Account Director, covering market segments including PBMs (Express Scripts), MCOs, Specialty Pharmacy, State Medicaid and GPOs for such companies as Knoll, Élan and Endo Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Musial’s expertise includes developing strategic customer relationships, contract negotiations, contract strategy and pull-through initiatives. Mr. Musial has been a National Account Executive working with Express Scripts for 23 consecutive years.
Mr. Musial has earned the highest awards in each of his roles within the industry, including the “Distinguished Sales Person Club”, as a sales representative; “District and Hospital Manager of the Year” for two consecutive years; and “President’s Club Award”, awarded to the top performing Account Director in the nation.
Currently, Mr. Musial supports the launching, reimbursement and contracting of pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device products to the hospital, group purchasing organizations (GPO’s) and Managed Care, segments.
Mr. Musial received his BS in Management and Nursing from Maryville University with Honors and Master’s Degree in Marketing from Webster University. In addition, Mr. Musial is currently a licensed Registered Nurse.
