Rocco Verducci provides a wealth of knowledge and strength in business acumen, product knowledge and customer engagement in the Managed Markets, Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) and Hospital markets. Mr. Verducci has advanced training and extensive experience in contract development and negotiations, sales, sales management, sales force training, brand marketing and positioning, and demonstrated skills in customer intimacy.
Prior to joining D2, Mr. Verducci had a distinguished career with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). While at GSK, Mr. Verducci held a variety of positions, ranging from Sales Representative to Regional Director of Medical Center Solutions. Mr. Verducci’s significant accomplishments included his work as a Director in the area of National Accounts, across the MCO, GPO, IDN and Hospital markets.
Mr. Verducci’s experience runs the gamut of Manager of Corporate Sales Training, Product Brand Manager, Integrated Healthcare Manager, National Account Manager (GPOs), Senior Care Account Manager, National Accounts – Director (GPOs and Hospitals). During his tenure with GSK, Mr. Verducci revamped the initial training program for the sales organization, launched new pharmaceutical products, and helped formulate corporate strategy, contracting strategies, and pull-through opportunities with some of the major GPOs and IDNs. Mr. Verducci has earned numerous awards and accolades, which include the Health Industries Research Center (HIRC) awards recognizing the best account manager from the customer’s perspective in addition to the Winner’s Circle, Managed Care Star, Spirit Awards, and President’s Club.
Mr. Verducci received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Master of Education degree from Sam Houston State University.
