Mike Hossbach has 40 years of Pharmaceutical Industry experience primarily with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). His expertise includes sales, sales management, marketing, business acumen, new product introduction, product life cycle management, brand positioning, and customer development.
While at GlaxoSmithKline, Mr. Hossbach held positions of increasing responsibilities in the areas of field sales, hospital market sales, sales management, and managed care markets. With twenty years as a managed care Account Director, Mr. Hossbach had responsibility for Regional and National Insurers, PBM’s, and State Medicaid programs. Mr. Hossbach’s skill set includes developing strategic customer relationships, developing and implementing strategic account plans, and developing/implementing contracting strategies. Mr. Hossbach was recognized twelve times by his customers with Best Account Manager awards from Health Strategies Group and the Health Industries Research Center.
Currently, he supports companies in the launching and reimbursement of pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device products in the Managed Care and Government (Medicaid, Medicare) markets.
Mr. Hossbach has a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Eastern Illinois University. He has completed many pharmaceutical industry training programs including Huthwaite Mastering Customer Engagement and the Wharton School of Business’ Executive Advanced Negotiating program.
