Mr. Lewis brings 30+ years of experience in Trade Operations, Portfolio Management, Supply Chain Operations and Strategic Planning. He has worked in a number of environments including, mid-to- large pharma and start-ups, both as an associate and as a consultant. Over his career, Mr. Lewis has built forecasting models, inventory monitoring tools, managed new product launches and has helped negotiate and implement trade wholesaler/specialty distribution, various supply chain and third party logistics (3PL) agreements. He has been a request-for- proposal (RFP) design and analysis Lead, developed the SOP process at various organizations, led portfolio site evaluations, managed product life cycle decisions, and has globally launched products. Mr. Lewis has developed relationships with multiple classes of trade channels.
In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry through broad experience allows Mr. Lewis to mentor and lead D2 clients in the development of pharmaceutical commercial operations, supply chain launch and trade development activities.
Prior to his current role with D2, Mr. Lewis has held full-time and consulting positions at Onset Dermatologics, McNeil Consumer Healthcare, Nuron Biotech, Archimedes Pharmaceuticals, Lundbeck, Graceway Pharmaceuticals and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Lewis has an MBA from West Chester University and an undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
