Specialty Pharmacy and Accreditation Services
Ms. Cox has 5+ years of experience in specialty pharmacy and pharmacy leadership roles. Before joining D2, Ms. Cox was the Clinical Pharmacy Manager for the Carolinas HealthCare System Specialty Pharmacy Service, now part of Atrium Health. In her role, Ms. Cox was responsible for building new clinical service lines, was influential in the acquisition of URAC and ACHC accreditations and established a team of clinical pharmacists embedded in various Carolinas HealthCare specialty clinics. Clinical areas of interest for Ms. Cox include multiple sclerosis and hemophilia.
Prior to her time with Carolinas HealthCare Specialty Pharmacy Service, Ms. Cox was an inpatient pharmacist within the Carolinas HealthCare System at their 900-bed level 1 trauma center and associated Levine Children’s Hospital. She worked with adult patients in an ICU setting, pediatric chemotherapy patients, and worked in the IV therapy clean room.
Ms. Cox graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is currently licensed in North Carolina. She is currently credentialed as a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, a Certified Specialty Pharmacist and a Multiple Sclerosis Certified Specialist.
