Sales and Business Development
Since 1994, Mr. Stefano has held a variety of management and business development roles in the pharmaceutical industry. His primary focus and expertise is developing strategy and implementing solutions for market access, particularly for specialty pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Stefano has considerable expertise in the pharmaceutical access solutions arena, having worked for multiple HUB/patient affordability vendors such as TrialCard, United BioSource Corporation (UBC) and Cardinal Health. During his tenure, he led dozens of teams engaged in planning and executing pre- and post-launch commercialization activities for specialty products. He is an expert in evaluating and improving patient and provider access programs.
Earlier in his career Mr. Stefano held various senior sales management roles along with high-profile product channel positions for Genentech, GSK and Managed Health Care Associates. During this time, he gained an in-depth knowledge of various stakeholders in today’s patient access ecosystem including payers, HUBS, PBM’s, GPO’s, wholesalers, and retail and specialty pharmacies, among others. Mr. Stefano holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA and currently lives in southern New Jersey.
